Context and objectives
As part of the expansion of its activities and the increasing maturity of its procurement function, the client’s CPO engaged our firm to help structure its future procurement organization across the Asia / Pacific / Middle East region. This assignment follows a previous one already carried out by the firm, which aimed to map procurement maturity in the region and define long-term objectives in this area.
Methodology and deliverables
- Structured various workshops with the CPO to gather all necessary information
- Consolidation of various financial data (budgets, forecasts, spend), sometimes heterogeneous:
- Segmentation of direct / indirect and by category
- Definition of controllable spend scope by country
- Development of clear organizational scenarios grounded in quantified realities:
- Organizational models & SWOT analyses
- FTE sizing
- Location of procurement hubs to be implemented based on TCO
- Analysis of potential savings and ROI over 12 months

- Spend mapping for each country
- Three organizational models with strengths and weaknesses and final recommendation
